Student Perks Program - Terms & Conditions

Please take the time to read the conditions listed on this page carefully. This is a legally binding agreement. In return for promotional support by the UFV Student Union Society (hereafter UFVSUS) which may include discount publications, posters, flyers, web content and mobile application content, the participating business as outlined on the reverse of this contract (hereafter, the Participating Business) agrees to participate in the UFVSUS Student Perks Program (SPP), on the terms set out on the front of this agreement in respect of the businesses listed. The Participating Business agrees to the following terms and conditions:

  1. The Participating Business understands that this agreement is with UFVSUS and the UFVSUS reserves the right to deny participation.
  2. The Participating Business agrees that it will not grant the offers and/or concessions on the front of this agreement or more favourable discounts or concessions to the general public.
  3. The Participating Business gives permission for UFVSUS to mention in any of its advertising or promotional literature, brochures and directories, details such as name, trade category, merchandise and/or services sold and concessions available to UFVSUS Student Perks Program (SPP) members.
  4. The Participating Business will undertake to familiarise all staff with the discount service, and undertake to refund discount program members any discount they failed to obtain in accordance with the terms of this agreement on purchasing goods or services from us, or to refund such discount to the UFVSUS Student Perks Program if the UFVSUS Student Perks Program has refunded such a user.
  5. The Participating Business agrees to accept validation through the UFVSUS Student Perks Program mobile application via a discount identifier on the app. The Participating Business may deny the discount in the event that the discount identifier is not displayed by the customer. The Participating Business will receive examples of the mobile application feature from the UFVSUS. The Participating Business further understands that supplemental proof of student status may be required as the Participating Business sees fit.
