LEED GOLD CERTIFIED
Our innovative building is LEED Gold certified, which is the second-highest certification in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. Throughout the design, building and maintenance process, we focused on sourcing regional construction materials, increasing energy efficiency, reducing wastewater, and designing an inviting and healthy space.
We are home to Fair Grounds Coffee and StrEATs You can pick up your U-Pass at our Info Desk and you can find bookable spaces for your Clubs and Associations’ needs. Your Executive team and SUS permanent staff are based here along with a variety of other UFV services including Student Life, Indigenous Student Centre, Advising Centre, Food Bank and the Campus Card office. You will also find CIVL Radio and student newspaper, The Cascade.

We are the S building at the Abbotsford Campus next to the Athletic Centre by parking lot 10.
Study Areas:
Throughout the SUB you can find comfy chairs, couches, and tables to study.
These quieter areas include:
• 3rd floor outside of meeting room 3103
• 3rd floor across from Advising Offices
BOOKABLE SPACES:
If you're a registered Student Club or Association needing space to host an event or hold a meeting, look no further than your own Student Union Building! All our reservable spaces are available to you at no charge when planning events for your members and/or other UFV students.

COVID-19 Safety
Health and safety is a priority in everything we do during this time. We have had to make some changes to the way we do things, so you may not find all of our spaces open during our regular hours.
In the SUB, you’ll find there will be plenty of clear signage to show you which way to go in public areas, as well as hand sanitizing stations which you should use regularly.
Steps we’ve taken in the building:
We actively promote handwashing and hand hygiene, and we’ve added extra hand sanitizing points around the SUB
We’re always rigorous about cleaning but we’ve increased deep cleaning and sanitization of all areas.
We are making sure we do everything we can to keep people safe including social distancing measures, providing masks, limiting numbers, and working remotely when we need to.
