OUR STORY.

Here at Fair Grounds Coffee, we strive to create a high-quality coffee experience. Whether it's your cappuccino, London fog to go, or the bag of beans you brew at home, we want your experience at Fair Grounds to be the best one yet.

We opened in the fall of 2015 as a fair trade, eco-friendly, organic, and ethical coffee shop in the Student Union Building. In addition to our Canterbury roastery coffee and espresso, we also offer a broad selection of brewed teas, bakery items, and a variety of in-house grab-and-go items. Enjoy your favourite beverage and snack while on break from your classes.

+ What brand of coffee do you serve?

Here at Fair Grounds we serve Canterbury Roastery Coffee. It’s a carefully selected collection of our favourite blends, single-origin, espresso and decaf coffees all with one promise in mind: to give you, our customers, everything you need to brew the best tasting coffee, every time.

+ What brand of tea do you serve?

We use Two Leaves and a Bud. Two Leaves and a Bud is an independent tea company from Colorado, known internationally for producing high-quality organic and fair trade teas. Two Leaves and a Bud was a pioneer of the pyramid-shaped sachet. The special shape and size of the sachet allows the tea to infuse completely, providing fuller flavour and a more memorable tea experience.

+ Do you offer dairy alternatives?

Yes! We have almond, coconut and oat milk and are readily available.

+ Do you offer seasonal drinks?

Yes we do! Check out our website to see our latest specials.

+ Do you carry Gluten-Friendly items?

Yes, we offer Individually wrapped Gluten-Friendly Peanut Butter cookies, Party Pants cookies, Chocolate Pecan loaf and Belgian brownie

+ Do you offer Vegan options?

Yes we do! We have Vegan Croissants and Vegan Chocolate Cookies. We are working hard to add more vegan and gluten friendly options to the menu. Check back soon!

+ Do you offer gift cards?

Yes, we do! We have gift cards available for purchase during our operating hours.

+ What do I do if I have an old FairGrounds gift card?

Just come by and our team will exchange the old card for a new one, with the remaining balance.
