We are the University of the Fraser Valley Student Union Society. Home to a variety of great programs services, student advocacy, events, and opportunities to volunteer and find on-campus employment.  Come on in – we want to be part of your student life!

SUS was officially registered as a BC Non-Profit Society in 1995 but has been at UFV since the 1980's. We were created by members of the student body to represent student concerns and their needs to the University and to the municipal, provincial and federal government.

Our mission is to be an inclusive community that provides high-quality, accessible programs and services. We are the unified voice advocating on behalf of student interests in the UFV community, ensuring each student has opportunities to thrive!

The Student Union Society is a non-profit organization run by students and for students at UFV. Through a body of elected student executives, faculty representatives, student staff and permanent staff,  SUS is able to offer a variety of programs and services to its members, advocate for post-secondary education on their behalf, and provide you with many opportunities to get involved on campus.

We employ students each semester for various positions as well as offering volunteer opportunities throughout the year. Check out our Jobs page for more info!

We represent the voice of over 11,000 students. When University and/or Government leaders make decisions affecting students or their life on campus, your elected student leaders act as an autonomous voice to ensure you can communicate your opinions and needs without bias or influence.

Here, you’ll find all things food, drink, friends and fun, as well as our Info Desk, and spaces to book out for your club and society needs. Your Executive team and SUS’s permanent staff operate here too.
