KICBACK 001 was our very first event ever since the pandemic to bring back community and engagement on campus welcoming back UFV Students this Fall 2021 semester. KICKBACK took place on campus outdoors on September 23rd, with over 1500 students registered at this event making it a blasting return to campus!
What was at KICBACK?
Lots and lots of fun, food, free giveaways, and meeting new friends! We had food trucks and several vendors and activities including:
Tie Dye Station
Beer Garden Zone with Trading Post Brewery
Wipe out
Dunk Tank

Photo Booth
Giant Games brought by UFV REC
Chill zone with Student Life
And many more!
UFV Students got a free beer, limited quantities of free food vouchers, and our most popular grabs of the day were our branded KICKBACK merch!
The atmosphere of the event was intended to be a safe, fun and social environment for students to mingle, participate in fun activities, enjoy some delicious food and beer having a good time with their friends.
With all the great feedback and the successful turnout of KICKBACK 001, SUS will continue with this tradition for orientation in the future as well. The SUS team is dedicated to make the next KICKBACK 002 event better and a memorable experience for all.
