Health and safety is a priority in everything we do during this time. We have had to make some changes to the way we do things, so you may not find all of our spaces open during our regular hours. 

In the SUB, you’ll find there will be plenty of clear signage to show you which way to go in public areas, as well as hand sanitising stations which you should use regularly.

Please note that masks are currently mandatory for entering the Student Union Building


Steps we’ve taken in the building

  • We actively promote handwashing and hand hygiene, and we’ve added extra hand sanitising points around the SUB

  • We’re always rigorous about cleaning but we’ve increased deep cleaning and sanitisation of all areas

  • We are making sure we do everything we can to keep people safe including social distancing measures, providing masks, limiting numbers and working remotely when we need to

EMPOWER ME is a program that allows students to connect with qualified counsellors, consultants, and life coaches for a variety of issues 24-7. As a Health and Dental Plan member, you are entitled to sessions delivered in person, by telephone, by video-counselling, or by e-counselling at no out of pocket cost.
