Fellow UFV Students and SUS Members,

I am writing to you to announce that we have reached an agreement with BC Transit to allow SUS Members to enroll into the Summer 2020 U-Pass Program if they need to.

On April 21st, The SUS announced that: BC Transit suspended all UFV student benefits related to the U-Pass program for the Summer 2020 semester, and in order to support the COVID-19 preventive measures, all bus fees were waved for riders. On the same day, The SUS also announced that The U-Pass fee will not be collected for the Summer 2020 semester.

On May 2nd, BC Transit sent another communication announcing that the fare collection will resume on all buses effective June 1, 2020.

Today we would like to announce that:
Starting June 8th, 2020, The SUS, with the support of The UFV Office of the Registrar, The UFV Campus Card office, and BC Transit, will now be able to provide The Summer 2020 U-PASS to currently registered UFV students (taking classes) who need it.
